Subject: National Public Lands Day Cleanup - Bullhead City/Mohave Valley Area
All of our members are invited to participate!!!!
All,
The Bureau of Land Management's Kingman Field Office will be holding a National Public Lands Day event on September 30th, 2017 in the area of Bullhead City/Mohave Valley. The cleanup efforts will be focused on the areas around El Rodeo Road. Specifics for the event are listed below:
Meeting Place/Time: Intersection of El Rodeo and Ashley Roads at 9AM on September 30th, 2017. The event will last until 3PM.
BLM Will Provide: Gloves, water, respirators, and other miscellaneous supplies.
Please Bring: Close-toed Shoes, Wide-brimmed hat, sunblock, snacks (lunch may be donated), and dress in layers to account for changes in temperature (September can still be a very hot month for this area).
What Will You Be Doing?: Collecting and disposing of trash illegally dumped on BLM managed lands. Large trash receptacles will be provided by the BLM and Mohave County. Trash will consist of household waste, mattresses, couches, tires, and other miscellaneous trash such as trigger trash).

In addition, there will be an "Amnesty Day" on September 13th, 2017 that will be held at the City Hall building in Bullhead City Located at 2355 Trane Road. There will be three (3) thirty (30) yard roll-off dumpsters for tires without rims, general waste, and other miscellaneous items. If you are interested in helping out this day please contact Paul Misiaszek.
