Several members have expressed concerns regarding the lack of social distancing at our monthly meetings. Therefore, we have decided to cancel January's meeting for Sunday, January 3rd.
In order to keep our club "active", we will have the monthly outing on Sunday, January 10th, and also the monthly planted coin hunt on January 17th. Masks will be required at both activities. They can be removed while hunting at the outings and while on the field at the coin hunts.
Coin Hunts: You must be registered by 1:15 PM. Please come early if you want to pay your membership dues. Bring chairs, metal detectors masks, water and headphones.
The Membership Committee (Sheryl and Connie) will be available at the coin hunt so that you can pay your dues to renew your membership. If you wish to renew your membership by mail, the address is: Sheryl Hansen
3190 Hwy 95 Lot #1531
Bullhead City AZ 86442
Outings: Our outing for Sunday, January 10th: We will meet at 10 AM. Directions - From Bullhead City, take Hwy 95 North. Go straight on to Rt. 68 East which goes to Golden Valley. After the Maverick Gas Station in Golden Valley, you will turn right on to Aztec Road. (You may want to stop at the Maverick for a pit stop.)
Continue on Aztec Road until you come to a stop sign. Turn left. You will come to the I-40 overpass. Go under it and the staging area will be on your right. Bring metal detectors, headphones, masks, water, chairs (and food if you want). The family car is suitable for this hunt as no high clearance is needed. If you have any questions, call Nancy at 814-730-1185.
Please continue to support the Methodist Church Food Pantry. We can collect non-perishable food items at the coin hunts. If you want to deliver it to the church yourself, they are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM - 11 AM. Please make sure the expiration dates are ok.
We will also have the red donation box available for your monetary gifts. The Club will match what we give. We will be late for Christmas, but it can be used at any time.
We will keep you up to date on a monthly basis. You can also go to our website and face book.
On behalf of the officers and the board of directors, we wish each of you safe and healthy holidays and pray for a better new year!
Nancy Goodman, President
